What it teaches
Commercial investment analysis at a serious level.
What an agent has to do to get it
Roughly 200 hours of course work, a portfolio of qualifying experience, and a comprehensive exam. One of the hardest credentials in real estate.
What it actually tells you
This one is difficult, full stop. It is also commercial. If you are selling a house, it is the wrong tool, and it may mean the agent's real business is somewhere other than residential listings.

What share of your business last year was single family homes?
Where I stand on it
I do not hold these letters. I studied the material behind a lot of them, because the subjects are real and a seller pays for what I do not know. I never bought the initials. If a credential is ever shown to get sellers more money, I will earn it that day and put it on this page myself.
