Matters to a sellerWho issues it
National Association of Realtors
What it teaches
How to build a comparative market analysis and how to talk to appraisers.
What an agent has to do to get it
One course, one fee.
What it actually tells you
Pricing is the single largest lever on your outcome, so the subject is the right subject. The certification is one day of it. Every agent claims pricing skill. Make them prove it with their own numbers.

Where I stand on it
I do not hold these letters. I studied the material behind a lot of them, because the subjects are real and a seller pays for what I do not know. I never bought the initials. If a credential is ever shown to get sellers more money, I will earn it that day and put it on this page myself.
