What it teaches
Nothing.
What an agent has to do to get it
Usually none. The number is often the whole office, the whole team, or a career total, presented as if it belongs to the person in front of you.
What it actually tells you
Ask what the denominator is. Top one percent of what group, measured by whom, in what year. Then ask for their individual number. The gap between the two answers tells you everything.
Ask this instead
Top one percent of which list, measured by whom, and what is your individual number?
Where I stand on it
I do not hold these letters. I studied the material behind a lot of them, because the subjects are real and a seller pays for what I do not know. I never bought the initials. If a credential is ever shown to get sellers more money, I will earn it that day and put it on this page myself.

Selling in the Santa Clarita Valley?
